Abbey Road Gymnastics Club is the data controller of the personal information you provide to us. This means That Abbey Road Gymnastics Club determines the purposes for which, and the manner in which, any personal data relating to you and your child is to be processed. We take your privacy seriously and will ensure that your personal information is kept secure. We are registered with British Gymnastics and Welsh Gymnastics who govern the sport.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you:
+ Register interest with us
+ Attend our classes or competitions.
+ Volunteer to support us.

The categories of information that we collect, and hold include the following:

1. Personal information - e.g. names, contact numbers and addresses
2. Relevant medical information
3. Attendance information
4. Basic payment information - payment methods, payment amounts, and date of payments are recorded. No card or bank account information is stored by us.

How we use the information?

+  To be able to provide our service to you.
+  To inform you of any changes to the service we provide. Such as a change of class times, a cancelled lesson etc. We will deliver information on these changes via our facebook and instagram page, SMS, phone calls and letters to ensure you
get the message as soon as possible.

+  For us to be able to identify you when you contact us, or we contact you.
+  Medical information for health and safety of the participant in sessions.
+  Identifying any adjustments to support inclusion if a child has a disability or special needs.
+  Responding to any comments or complaints you may send us.
+  Filming and taking photos for coaching purposes and to promote the club. All film and photos will only be published in accordance with your consent.

Information is shared with

We do not sell or share any of your personal data, but to be able to provide our service there are the below partner companies who we need to share your data with.

Club Competition Entries: only participant name, BG number, DOB will be shared. This will only be for the purpose for you to gain entry to the competition / event.

How long will data be stored for?

In accordance with the GDPR, we do not store personal data indefinitely; data is only stored for as long as is necessary to complete the task for which it was originally collected. If you leave the club the information that you have provided will be deleted, except where there is a legitimate and lawful reason to continue to hold your data. In the absence of this any information will be deleted after 12 months.

What are your rights?

Account holders and participants have the following rights in relation to the processing of their personal data.
You have the right to:
